hello friends! it's been a while since i've last updated (well, since i returned to campus for the semester, and now back home... oops?) so here's to hopping on quickly with a few big updates.
first thing's first: i'm getting another piece published! it should be up and running soon-- i'll keep you all posted where to find it as soon as it's released. i'm especially excited about this project and the mission of the online publication, so it'll definitely be worth checking out.
as far as long term projects go, i've put the finishing touches on my first full manuscript, and actually created the first bound hard copy of it as a gift! i wish i could share more without any spoilers (i want to save some element of surprise when it's eventually released!) but what i can say at the moment is that the recipient absolutely loved it, and the cover design (done by my brother!) is immaculate. i'm also polishing up my first real chapbook, which will be on the desks of several publication companies for review in the coming weeks. fingers crossed that it comes together-- it's some of my best (and favorite) work to date, so i'm really excited at the premise of it reaching real eyes.
that's about it for now! thanks for your patience with me as i work on some new projects, polish up the old, and piece together some more writing for y'all to enjoy. i still appreciate the support when i'm not tucked up in my mini-van trunk behind a computer screen-- pinky promise. ;)
